Forgetting passwords is my number one problem. I have 600 different variations of about 8 passwords that I use and it's a battle to remember which one goes with which account. Thats why I frequently make new e-mails, tumblrs and even polyvores. So what I'm trying to get at is that I made a new polyvore account because I forgot the password! I made this outfit while watching Sex and the City 2. I was inspired by Carrie and Samantha's chic look, classically elegant and/or occasionally overdressed. If you haven't seen this movie, I suggest watching both movies and then the entire t.v series!

The ensemble features classic elements such as a Bassike plain white t-shirt, Hermes bangle (idea from Revenge Wears Prada the sequel to Devil Wears Prada ( I highly recommend this book for those found that they couldn't get enough of the first book!) and Shakuhachi boots which I believe would look good with just about anything!

a very cool underwater waterfall!

In the Pacific ocean there is a tiny island southeast of the coast of Africa named Mauritius. Mauritius has a long history of colonisation - beginning in 975 AD when the Portuguese first founded it and ending in 1968 when the island became a republic. So fifi, why are you telling us this? Well dear blog viewer, when my friend told me that she was from this fascinating island I began to research facts and stumbled across a crazy picture depicting an underwater waterfall! How cool is that! So I decided to do some research into the crazy illusion.

The "Underwater Waterfall" is located at the south western tip of the island. Unfortunately it's just an illusion that is seen when looking from a birds eye view. When looking from above the silt and sand runoff creates the impression of a "vortex" however when looking from other angels, the ocean appears as a blur of majestic aquas, blues and greens.

Even though its just a trick, there is something fascinating about an underwater waterfall. There is so much of our oceans that we don't know about and have never explored, so to find something magical would be a real treat! Hope you are all having a great day! Fifi xx

Ciao everyone - happy Sunday! hope you have all had a relaxing weekend and are refreshed for the new week!! yesterday my family and a few friends bought a boat! how crazy is that! but I have to say that it was such a beautiful day for it! where I live it was 24 degrees and amazing!

We started off by launching the boat at a nearby boat ramp but this went disastrously wrong as we managed to get the boat off but no one was holding it! my father had to wade in and grab it before it drifted too far out! however all these small dramas were forgotten when we got going. I had forgotten how much I love boats. Just cruising around Sydney harbour made me so happy and carefree. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing in my hair so much that by the time we got off I probably looked like a crazy woman! I had the best time out there on the water, being around it makes me so happy and if I'm having a bad day it immediately makes it 100x happier. When I was younger (and now too a bit!) I used to fantasise about being a mermaid, how cool it would to swim all day, see dolphins and fish up close and breathe under water. I think that it would be the coolest thing in the world. When I told my mum about my dream when I was 5 I think, she laughed and told me that she could see me as a mermaid and at the time that was the best thing that she had ever said to me!!

My family and friends had such a good laugh yesterday and I think that it brought us all so much closer. I am so excited for the memories to come and hope that your families each experience something as fun as going out and the boat and talking! What have you been doing this weekend? Comment!

feeling like a popsicle!

I personally believe that you can tell a lot about someone from just 5 simple things:

1. How they treat their family 

2. How they treat their friends 

3. What they wear

4. What they do in their spare time

5. What ice-cream they eat

By now I'm sure you're staring quizzically as the screen wondering if you read that right or if it was a typo, but in fact you are correct Number 5: What ice-cream they eat. For example I have a gorgeous friend who is bubbly and happy and chooses to eat popsicles. Me on the other hand, I'm a gelato girl all the way, particularly my nonna's home made mango gelato. My brother is a dark chocolate and milk kinda guy - magnums for him. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love ice-cream, or food in general. This is why when I was scrolling down my tumblr news feed I saw that NY Fashion Week had a popsicle van!!! At first I was skeptical, "Why no gelato?" I asked myself. But then I saw why. These popsicles were not any ordinary popsicles. They were designed using the key themes and pieces from designers such as Louis (Vuitton) and Alexander (McQueen). As if I hadn't wished I was there already, now they have popsicles too!?! Too good to be true, but check out the pictures of the scrumptious treats and look for yourself! 

Perhaps vanilla and mango, Alexander McQueen never disappoints!  A lovely sweet treat for in between shows! 

Perhaps my favourite, I like to imagine this as cola, orange fizz and raspberry! What a scrumptious treat for running from show to show! 

Ah Louis, everything about this brand is classy - including their ice cream!

It's getting warmer baby!

It has officially been spring for 14 days now but it's really only hitting me just now how warm it's getting and how close we are to summer! Boy am I looking forward to those hot nights and long days at the beach with my closest friends and family! However much I am excited to see those gorgeous summer days, I still enjoy Spring immensely. I always feel hopeful, almost like the plants are starting again and so can I! Spring to me is a time of colour, happiness and accessorising! 

My Nonna, Cugini and Zia (italian for grandmother, cousins and auntie!) recently came back from a 2 month holiday touring around Italy - where our family is originally from. They visited the places that my Nonna and Nonno grew up and a few other cities. The photos are just magnificent however my nonna seems to have forgot to put in a memory card and therefore the photos are only able to be viewed from the screen of her iPad. Forgetting all that, she brought me back some beautiful beads from Venezia (Venice). In December I am lucky enough to be going to Italy too and hearing the stories that my family has told me, I anticipate this trip eagerly!

This is the braclet! My nonna said that each braclet that is made has a unique pattern on it. I like the idea of this - that no two bracelets are the same. 

When I was (admittedly) modelling my braclet I saw this patch of rainbow on my wall and thought the colours were just beautiful!

Hello world!

Hola friends and blog viewers!

Just wanted to give you a quick apology for not writing as often, life has been crazy both work and relationship wise. But never fear, I am back!
I have many exciting projects coming up like redecorating my room, making and selling some skirts with my friend and other exciting tasks so stay tuned, don't give up on me yet! I've decided to bring back my favouroite things of the week and will be posting favourite outfits and things I make!
